Client:
  
A large engineering company providing long-established capital, rotational equipment and large material handling solutions is seeking a Condition Monitoring Engineer to join the regional team in Mackay to facilitate a new business unit in the development and execution of Condition Monitoring, Reliability / Continuous Improvement strategy.
  
This exciting role provides a duel level opportunity to manage develop and lead a new predictive maintenance business unit and as well as implement vibration analysis and monitoring strategy to their unique products across Queensland.
  
Our successful candidates will provide Condition Monitoring support, be looking for career development, have a focus on stakeholder needs and an interest in business development. 
  
The role offers engagement and interaction with clients, external stakeholders and management of your own assignments. Key deliverables of this role conclude developing condition monitoring activities, analysis, stakeholder reporting, supporting innovation of technology, and working with the Sales manager to further develop strategies tailored for client needs.
  
Job:

  • Lead and drive your allocated project from a technical standpoint
  • Execute condition monitoring, reliability, continuous improvement of product management
  • Brownfield optimisation liaising with sales and marketing teams
  • Assist with project investigations and provide technical input for relevant equipment failures and troubleshooting
  • Drive reliability engineering and systems engineering
  • Assess and report on machine performance and provide improvement recommendations
  • Provide support in vibration analysis and other predictive and preventive maintenance practices
  • Assist in maintaining and developing client relationships
  • Drive product improvement with Sales and Services team
  • Work with Clients to identify needs and develop business strategies
  • Over the next 12 months grow your own business unit
  
To be successful for this role:

  • Experience working with Sales and/or Customers
  • Have a keen interest in Business Development
  • Experience in managing stakeholder expectations (internally and external)
  • 3+ years proven mechanical maintenance / reliability-based experience on auxiliary systems or rotating equipment
  • Demonstrated commitment to safety in the workplace
  • ISO VCAT2 is mandatory, VCAT3 is preferred
  • Vibration, thermography and lubrication experience is essential
  • Experience within Reliability Engineering
  • Experience with a variety of tools (e.g. MS Office and Emerson software) desirable
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
  • Proactive, Highly motivated, and self-sufficient individual
  • Open to site travel (day trips and overnight)
  • Ability to work in a team-based environment
