The opportunity
We are looking for a Principal level Transportation Planner & Modeller to join our busy and vibrant Melbourne team. You will be responsible for all transport modelling and for building a team to provide integrated land use and transport advice including writing plans and business cases. The modelling work is primarily strategic modelling, but also mesoscopic and microscopic modelling. You will be proficient with leading transport modelling software packages such as EMME for strategic modelling and Aimsun for meso and microscopic modelling. Your previous experience will enable you to communicate those models and interpretations to clients and team members alike.

This will be a dynamic and fast-paced working environment and you will need to have well developed consulting skills, with an ability to liaise directly with client contacts.

About you
To be considered for this opportunity you need:

• An appropriate tertiary qualification aligned to Transport Modelling & Planning
• Recent Integrated land/transport and strategic urban planning experience at a senior level
• Demonstrated ability to build a team
• Exceptional communication skills with an ability to build relationships both externally and internally
• Proven Business case writing skills
• A positive tenacious attitude with an ability to make things happen and embody our company purpose to ‘Make Everyday Better”.
