Urgent requirement!

The Role:

Our client is part of a JV working on a major infrastructure project North-west of Brisbane, in Toowoomba. They are seeking a cost engineer with civil engineering experience to take on a 12 month contract with them. The cost controller will be responsible for assisting the commercial team in managing the project cost and reporting in to the senior cost engineer. 


Duties:

• Monitor sub-contractor invoicing
  
• Management of materials (incoming and outgoing)
• Provide assistance/advice on monthly production
• Co-ordinate cost control processes
• Monthly reporting to project management and client
• Identify possible discrepancies and implement preventative/corrective procedures

Requirements:

• A bachelors degree of civil engineering or higher
• Min. 2 years experience in a similar role
• Keen eye for detail
• Strong communication skills (written/verbal)
• Sound computer skills

Benefits:

A base salary of $95K - $100K + 9.5% superannuation is being offered. Base salary will be negotiated and dependent on experience.
