With the ability to work part time remotely our Civil Team is currently seeking an experienced Construction Engineer to work on a number of Land Development Projects within the Western Suburbs in Melbourne. 
  
The Opportunity

• Manage the delivery of construction projects including Land Development, Infrastructure, Commercial, Defence, Remediation/Geotechnical and Structural ensuring work output is of a technically high standard
• Preparation and supervision/overseeing of Schedules, Tenders, and Contract documents
• Preparation of reports for work carried out and conduct investigations as necessary
• Comply with the quality management system with the ability to provide feedback and recommendations
• Assist with the learning and progression of more junior engineers
• Preparation of fee proposals for the bidding of projects 

To be successful

• Tertiary qualifications in Civil Engineering and/or Construction Management coupled with 3+ years’ experience in a similar position.
• A solid construction understanding of earthworks, stormwater infrastructure, sewer & water infrastructure, and concrete structures.
• Familiarity with construction safety policies and procedures, AS2124 and AS4000 forms of Contract and their administration.
• An ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment, and to work under pressure to deadlines.
• Demonstrated strong written and verbal communication skills to maintain a strong client focus.
• A good working knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel systems and MS Project.
• Accreditation with MRWA water authorities.
