ABOUT THE COMPANY.
This respected and well-known Rail Contractor are specialist in project delivery of a diverse range of rail infrastructure projects across NSW. This contractor maintains a great reputation in the market for a high standard of safety and quality of work.
ABOUT THE POSITION.
As a Rail / Track Engineer, you will assist in the project delivery of track construction, maintenance and commissioning across the Sydney Metro. You will be required to work Monday through to Friday, including one Saturday a month. There will be a strong focus on your development, with exposure to project management to allow you to further progress in your career.
DUTIES.
- Quality assurance
- Coordinating subcontractors
- Manage contracts and variations
- Costing
- Design management
- Client liaison
- Maintain safety
SKILLS & EXPERIENCE.
- Tertiary qualification in an Engineering discipline
- Previous experience with ARTC or the Sydney Train network would be advantageous
- Proficient understanding of interpreting designs and plans
- Thorough understanding of WH&S practices
- Strong verbal and written communication
