- Ongoing contracting position with 38hrs a week
- Located in Footscray VIC
We are now seeking an experienced civil designer/engineer to join a busy local council in-house design team looking after a number of complex civil infrastructure projects (Road, Pavement and Drainage etc.) This is a contracting opportunity and can potentially lead to much longer term.
The Role:
As civil design engineer, you will be responsible for the output of correct and standard compliant drawings across the civil infrastructure team. You will demonstrate the ability to communicated clearly and have the confidence and proven skill to liaison with key stakeholders. Your team will consist of a well establish design engineers with a high standard record of accomplishment.
The Person:
To be considered for this civil design engineer position, you will need to have:
- Tertiary qualifications in Civil Engineering.
- A minimum of 5 years’ experience in designing Civil Infrastructure
- Experience in AutoCAD/CivilCAD/Civil3D software packages.
- Understanding of surveying, roads, drainage, laneway and other relevant design standards
- Well-developed contract and project management skills
- Effective verbal and written communication skills with ability to liaise with stakeholders
