Due to an ever growing portfolio of awarded contracts across our NSW Defence team, we are currently seeking an experienced Project Supervisor to join our project team in Garden Island, Sydney. Reporting to the Project Manager, you will be part of the project team at Garden Island for the electrical substation upgrade including associated equipment and housing including access. You will be responsible for supporting the delivery of a diverse range of packages of work for the project including:
- Control and assurance of the safety and compliance of the workforce
- Contribution and execution of Construction Methodologies and Method of Works Plans
- Implementation of relevant SWMS, Permits, Isolations and Controls to ensure the safety of the team.
- Quality and workmanship assurance in accordance with quality management processes and documentation
- Manage and capture workforce hours and productivity
- Stock control, procurement and inventory for the direct works on site.
WHAT YOU NEED TO SUCCEED
You will play a key role as part of our project delivery team and ideally be an Australian Citizen due to the nature of the project work with the ability to obtain a clean police clearance and Defence Baseline pass.
Although not essential previous experience working on Defence projects would be highly advantageous as well as demonstrated experience working on projects ranging from .$5m - $10m. Additionally you will have:
- Trade Background preferably within the civil construction and remediation industries (including building services and infrastructure maintenance)
- 5 years' experience in Supervision of construction and remediation projects
- Frontline management experience would be advantageous
- Cert IV in OHS - highly advantageous
