Cardno is seeking to reinforce its strong Project Management capabilities on the South Coast by appointing a Senior Project Manager to join our Land Development team in Wollongong. You will be reporting to the Urban Manager and working closely with other key senior stakeholders throughout the APAC south region. This is a great opportunity to work on major projects while being close to some fantastic coastal locations surrounding Wollongong.

Role
Whilst being a driven and influential individual, you will play an integral role in the development and delivery of projects. You will also be well experienced in a multidiscipline consultancy environment.
 
Key responsibilities you will be required to undertake will include:   

• Manage the planning and development phase of various civil infrastructure and land development projects.
• Provision of high quality written and verbal advice and analysis to clients and staff.
• Technical leadership of design and documentation to ensure work outputs meet client and company standards.
• Manage the delivery of technical documentation, design, planning and modelling solutions within time and budget constraints.
• Undertaking independent studies, analyses and interpretations to form conclusions in line with project requirements.
• Supervise, develop and mentor junior technical staff.
• Contribute to the growth of Cardno in the south coast market place by collaborating with surrounding business units.

Your experience
You are a self-motivated character looking to impact and drive the business, having demonstrated the following:  

• Tertiary qualifications in Engineering coupled with 5 - 10+ years' experience in civil infrastructure, structural design and land development projects. 
• Demonstrated industry practice with relevant understanding of technical standards and preferably local knowledge.
• A client service focus with strong interpersonal skills and an ability to work effectively in team environments.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills and the ability to deliver results.
