We are looking for an experienced Electrical Designer / Electrical Engineer. Role requirements and responsibilities:
The Designer / Engineer provides assistance to Directors, Associates and Senior Traffic Engineers on a variety of small and major projects in Victoria. Specific activities include, but are not limited to:
- Undertake site inspections to identify electrical asset and public lighting information
- Undertake lighting design in accordance with Australian Standards
- Undertake detailed electrical design of public lighting and low voltage supply in accordance with power authority standards
- Have an understanding on power authority standards and requirements
- Liaise with designers and engineers for interdisciplinary co-ordination and review
- Liaise with clients and stakeholders throughout various stages of the project
- Prepare cost estimates for project proposals
- Managing priorities and workloads to deliver projects on time and budget.
Prerequisites:
- Victorian Power Authority electrical design experience.

- Research for strategic road safety and policy advice.

- Undertake Road Safety Audits of all project stages
- Safe System Assessments
- Temporary works audits
