Engineering Manager (Food)
Our client is a leading food manufacturer who has experienced sustained growth which in turn has led to major investment into the business.
An Engineering Manager is sought, to drive not only daily maintenance and continuous improvement but also be actively involved in major works to keep operations at the forefront of their field. This is a key leadership role
The position will involve:
- Lead and support the maintenance teams in following maintenance strategies
- Revise, develop and implement maintenance policy, plans and strategy
- Ensure all equipment is maintained appropriately
- Establish KPI's and enhance the maintenance culture within teams
- Develop and manage preventative maintenance with Production etc
- Fully manage Capital innovation projects to budget and time-frames
You will demonstrate:
- Engineering qualification plus a minimum 4 years + experience in a similar role or substantial maintenance leadership
- Experience in FMCG with particular emphasis on preventative maintenance
- Excellent people management experience
- Strong experience in managing CapEx projects
- Strong adherence to OH&S and HACCP
