Job Description
Morgan Consulting Engineers are looking for a civil design draftsman for their Brisbane based office. The role offers a motivated person the opportunity to join their civil department and assist in delivering quality design support for new residential, commercial and industrial developments.
The Role
- Assist with the design and drafting of all aspects of civil works including earthworks, roadworks, services coordination and stormwater design.
- Preparation of civil concept design, detailed design and construction documentation
- Checking the design and documentation of self and others to ensure that it adheres to current local authority standards
- Managing own workload to satisfy civil department deliverables
- Following quality control procedures
- Maintain a healthy and happy work environment
What you need
- At least 5 years+ experience as a civil design drafter in Australia
- Experience in infrastructure (road, stormwater, sewer and water) design
- Experience in earthworks modelling and erosion control
- ACAD, Civil 3D/12D, PC drain and PC sewer software exposure
- A good attention to detail
- Enthusiasm to learn
- The ability to follow quality procedures
- Australian Permanent Residency/Citizenship is essential
