Due to ongoing project demand, an opportunity has arisen for a talented & dynamic Project Engineer with a chemical background to manage & drive a range of small to medium sized capital based projects. Working with a close knit team, key responsibilities include the following:
Duties & Responsibilities
- Effectively manage small to medium sized capital based projects from initial design, installation through to commissioning.
- Assist & approve design reviews with vendors, including P&ID's, functional, design & equipment specifications.
- Develop projects scoping, costs and project timelines ensuring all projects are in line with budgetary guidelines.
- Effectively liaise with internal & external vendors & suppliers in relation to equipment specifications & other related matters.
Skills & Experience
- Tertiary qualifications in Engineering (Chemical, Mechanical & Industrial)
- Project engineering experience in managing projects from start to finish within a food, pharmaceutical, beverage or dairy experience.
- Sound knowledge of design, installation & commissioning of projects.
- Sound understanding of GMP, OH&S requirements is highly desirable.
- Well developed interpersonal & communication skills.
