The Role
Reporting to the Audits & Inspections Manager you will effectively administrate, coordinate and deliver the quality and compliance requirements of the contract in accordance with the AMS Contract Maintenance Work Requirements, Technical Specifications and Asset Standards.
Key responsibilities includes (not limited to):
Perform daily/weekly/monthly inspections and audits in accordance with the audit/inspection schedule or as directed by the Audits & Inspections Manager
Identify defective works and non-conforming work practices so that timely and appropriate corrective and preventive actions are implemented
Participate in the review of work site instructions to ensure they are adequate for the work being performed and recommend actions to improve any processes that will ensure contract compliance is met.
Participate in or conduct vendor audits as directed by the Audits & Inspections Manager or the Quality & Compliance Manager
Conduct inspections in relation to trends analysis or compliance investigations undertaken by the Quality and Compliance Team as directed by Quality & Compliance Manager, to include customer complaints or as requested by the Client.
Contribute in the ongoing training of operations staff & subcontractors through participation in toolbox meetings, workshops and other related activities.
Ensure that inspections and Audits assigned for completion are undertaken so that the percentage of inspections performed across the contract meets the minimum required percentage of work instruction or as nominated by the Audit & Inspection Manager
Ensure that inspections and Audits are carried out effectively and that non-conforming works are identified so that timely rectification is completed to the required standard.
To be successful in this role you will have relevant experience in building inspection, construction site management/inspection or quality inspection in the facilities management industry. Relevant Trade Qualification in residential building is essential. Qualified Supervisor Certificate (QSC) or Contractor Licence is desirable. To succeed in this role you will have demonstrated experience in collaborative and consultative processes at a professional level. You will also have excellent communication & problem solving skills. This role requires flexibility with working hours to meet demanding project deadlines as the role will include travel to sites and subcontractor premises and contract offices.
