About the Role

Airswift is currently searching for a RAM Engineer to join our client's team. The successful candidate will be required to produce RAM plans, lead RAM allocation and provide RAM reports for the project. This role will be required to provide expert advice to interested parties, as well ensure the RAM activities are in line with the contractual requirements.

Key Responsibilities

  • Responsible for analyzing the RAM (Reliability, Availability, Maintainability) for the project and other upcoming bids
  • Establish and maintain RAM documents to meet customer requirements
  • Provide assurance to the management team that the systems and products that we deliver to our customers will meet their safety requirements in service
  • Participate in Project Design Reviews and Gate reviews to assist in the review and discussion on root cause analysis findings

Required Experience

  • 4+ years' experience in RAM and/or Systems Assurance role
  • Bachelor degree in engineering, preferably Chartered Engineer
  •  Experience in Defence or Rail RAM planning.
  • Experience using RAM software, such as PTC Windchill or Availability Workbench to develop reliability or availability models that support design decisions
  • Familiar with RAM standards such as EN50126 or MIL-STD-1629A depending on experience
  • Must be an Australian Citizen

Extra Points If You Have 

  • Experience with CBTC Signalling and Software
  • Broad railway knowledge, especially signaling and operation control systems
  • Knowledge of FRACAS for Railway Systems
  • Previous experience in a Consulting environment supporting business development activities.
  • Australian Security Clearance of Negative Vetting - Level 1 (NV1).
