We are seeking seeking an enthusiastic Test & Commissioning (T&C) Engineer to join our team on the rollout of European Train Control (ETCS) Level 1 project. In this role, you will be responsible for performing T&C activities at the onboard system level as well as related interfaces. This is a great opportunity to work on a safety critical and key project for NSW.
Key Responsibilities for this Role Includes:
- Coordinate the production of the T&C documentation (T&C Procedures, T&C Reports, Punch List management)
- Handle interfaces with the various different entities involved on the project
- Witness and perform specific tests on the system, including plan and coordinate the site tests
- Create and run action plans corresponding to malfunctioning of the system, aiming to reach the performances targets
- Manage the system configuration during the successive tests phases
- Keep in frequent communication to the Project Commissioning Manager regarding T&C progress and issue resolution.
Qualifications, Skills and Experience Required Includes:
- Tertiary Qualifications in a relevant engineering discipline (Telecommunications/Electrical/Electronics/Computer Systems preferred)
- Strong communication skills with the ability to communicate with stakeholders at all levels both internally and externally
- Previous experience working within a rail and/or transport environment with exposure to one or more of the following: Signalling, Train Control, CCTV, Communications, control systems
- Enthusiasm to work in a fast paced, constantly evolving environment.
