We are currently seeking an enthusiastic Requirements & Configuration Engineer to join our team based in our Melbourne CBD office. In this role, you will be responsible for leading all Requirement Management activities (including deployment of all Alstom tools and process’ plus training and support) and all Configuration Management activities (deployment of tools and setup of Configuration Management process as per project requirements).
Key Responsibilities for This Role Include:
- Ensure application of ALSTOM standard Requirement and Configuration Management processes and tools
- Manage project requirements from Notice to Proceed to the Final Quality Approval.
- Manage configuration management from Notice to Proceed to the Final Quality Approval.
- Implement RM and CM tools in accordance to project needs and Alstom standards
- Provide process and tool training to engineering staff of Australian Signalling Project office
- Provide project team members with proper and efficient support on tools and processes
- Ensure full project requirement traceability
Qualifications, Skills and Experience Required Includes:
- Bachelor degree in Engineering (Software, Systems, Electrical or Communications) or similar
- Knowledge of Requirements Management and Configuration and Change Management Principles and processes, preferably acquired on engineering projects
- Experience and knowledge of Requirements Management tools, e.g. DOORS, REQTIFY or similar
- Excellent people and stakeholder management skills with the ability to communicate clearly and concisely at all levels within the organisation.
- Team oriented with the ability to work independently
