This role involves taking the lead in custom design and implementation of integration projects of a custom product. To be suitable for this role you will have strong experience in product engineering including requirements development, integration and assurance. You will have experience with various Lean and design principles for manufacturing. You will also possess technical knowledge of risk management tools and the ability to apply them in a safety critical environment.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Review system interfaces, testing specifications and reports ensuring all functions and safety requirements are considered and complete
• Review Supplier Assurance models for applicability and adherence to Australian and International standards
• Ensure product compliance is maintained at all times by reviewing Design and manufacture documents
• Work on projects, providing project engineering and coordination of technical activities and management of requirements imposed by marketing and customers
• Assist/Lead testing and product release activities for particular product modifications
• Support the company's Product Quality Assurance Procedures and become familiar with processes as they relate to the product
• Have excellent written and communications skills in English

QUALIFICATIONS
 
A good Degree in Engineering or related discipline is a must and postgraduate qualifications are highly desirable
