Our client is a leader in innovative engineering solutions to the Defence Sector. We are seeking a Senior Cost Schedule Analyst to support a cutting-edge research and development program being conducted in South Australia. The successful applicant will be working closely with a team of dynamic engineers, project managers and the business as a whole. This is a highly professional team who are delivering one of the most state of the art Defence Project’s in Australia, if not globally. This role is pivotal to the outcomes and directly supports the project management team's ability to influence, monitor and report on project cost and schedule progress.
The Role:
- Support the Project Controls and Project Management team
- Manage schedule information and advice
- Directly contribute to the Master Integrated Project Schedule
- Establish, communicate and coordinate schedule standards
- Manage internal and external stakeholders
- Manage Earned Value Management Systems and trend analysis
- Assist in work breakdown structures and the analysis of project variances
- Ensure schedule hierarchy is maintained under baseline control,
- Ensure database alignment and code structure requirements are maintained
Skills & Experience required:
- Expertise with scheduling tools - OPP and Cobra
- Excellent understanding of scheduling principles - Critical Path Method and Baseline Control
- Significant experience and/or in dynamic and testing program environments
- Qualifications in scheduling and Earned Value Performance
- Must be a self-starter with a mature work ethic
- Excellent communication skills both written and oral
- Experienced in stakeholder engagement/influencing skills
- Project experience and exposure to financial management
- Applicants MUST hold or have held an NV1 to apply
