This company is a successful global leader in the field of railway technologies. It provides value-added technology based products and aftermarket services to railway organisations worldwide. The company is continuing to expand through acquisition and the growing demand for its products and services.
You will be responsible for the technical development and support of brake systems for the Australian and New Zealand markets, with the overall goal of supporting sales activities to increase the company's market share. It's expected that you will ensure the delivery of all projects within cost, schedule and quality requirements. You will act as a technical point of contact between the customer, subcontractors, vendors and internal stakeholders and manage multifunctional teams to resolve complex technical issues.
You will need a degree in Mechanical, Mechatronic or Electrical Engineering along with at least 5-10 years experience in the Rail Industry and around 5 years in brake systems. You must have prior experience in the design or maintenance of braking systems, preparation of tenders and costing of projects. In addition, you must be able to identify, examine and address issues practically and effectively and able to demonstrate leadership abilities.
