The role will suit a Civil Engineer with 3-5 years experience in urban infrastructure design. You will be exposed to some high profile land development and stormwater infrastructure projects. This role will draw on your engineering experience and is a genuine career development opportunity.
Job details
This role reports to the Senior Civil Engineer and requires the candidate to:
- To provide technical expertise to internal and external stakeholders
- To coordinate and manage the design of infrastructure and land development projects
- To work with a high degree of independence, completing projects from initial planning phase through to final detail design and documentation
Essential requirements
You will possess:
- Bachelor Degree in Civil Engineering with a minimum of 3-5 years post graduate experience
- Conceptual and detailed design of civil and stormwater infrastructure.
- Stormwater investigations and augmentation projects.
- Water Sensitive Urban Design
- Ability to liaise professionally with both clients and government authorities
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including technical report writing skills
- Ability to work independently or as part of a multi-disciplinary team
- Sound knowledge of hydrology and hydraulics related software operations
The following skills will be highly regarded:
- CP Eng status
- Flood modelling and stormwater management experience
- Post graduate qualification in Hydrology and Hydraulics
