Status Quo
You are established leader that has already built and managed a successful and profitable civil team in the urban development space. Spent over a decade with the same company, worked on iconic projects and developed some talented engineers? You are not unhappy but perhaps you need a new challenge, feel you have reached the limit in terms of where you can take the group and simply time for some fresh faces.
New challenge
Well branded, respected, premium mid tier, their track record shows a top-tier pedigree. Their leadership allows for autonomy and collaboration, they have a well-balanced team with high levels of retention and job satisfaction. With a modern approach to business, they are a strong performer in the last 5 years in terms of profits, on the back of growth of the business and its capability. It is by no means a team you need to build from scratch, they have a small civil team you will take over and build from and they have a pipeline of work that is being filtered from their structural business already, plus inroads into some RMS style work and local government infrastructure.
Perks
Profit share will kick in straight away in terms of your performance in the civil team and what you bring into the business. Again this is up to you how much you want to push yourself. Other members of their senior management team have earnt decent bonuses up to 30% of base salary in a 12 month period, so the sky is the limit.
Requires:
It is envisioned that you will have at least 15-20 years local consultancy experience across the three areas of business development, team management and technical project delivery. You will be tertiary qualified in civil engineering and Chartered.
