We are looking for an experienced contaminated land consultant to join our growing NSW team located in Sydney.

Duties will include:

• Provide both project Management and technical expertise for investigation/remediation project planning and implementation
• Initiate and/or contribute to the preparation of project fee proposals and tenders
• Office and field work
• Planning, implementing and reporting on Preliminary Site Investigations (PSI) and Detailed Site Investigations (DSI)
• Assessment and remediation of contaminated sites, report writing and field work on a variety of projects
• Acid Sulfate Soils investigations, characterisation and remediation
• Soil, vapor and groundwater monitoring
• Proposal and technical report writing
• Data compilation and interpretation
• Equipment care & maintenance

To be considered we require:

• Australian residency
• Hold a completed degree or post graduate qualification in geology, soil science or a related discipline
• Have experience in the contaminated sites sector, ideally in a consulting organisation;
• Have a working knowledge of NEPM 2013, Waste Regulations, and have had exposure to Asbestos & hazardous materials assessments
• Proven experience in report writing
• Australian manual driver’s license (preferred)
• Team first attitude
• Strong communication skills
• Ability to work autonomously and prioritise duties
• Effective time management
