Ongoing role based in Goulburn; Salary package up to $113,465

 

 

Public Works Advisory delivers significant infrastructure projects to support the NSW community. We apply our expertise in planning, design, delivery and maintenance of engineering, building, and environmental projects to assist our clients maximise value and manage risks associated with their assets.

 

We are currently recruiting for a Project Manager to join our Goulburn based team. This role will lead and be part of multi-disciplinary teams delivering professional project management and advisory services for NSW.  On offer is the opportunity to join a dynamic, engaged workforce, with an attractive remuneration package and access to flexible working arrangements. 

 

To be successful in the role you will have:

 

·        Civil or Construction Engineering degree qualifications (or equivalent), with well-developed project and contract management skills gained in the delivery of civil infrastructure projects.

·        high level initiative and well-developed problem solving / decision making skills.

·        proven ability to work independently, and to organise and prioritise demands while handling multiple complex tasks simultaneously.

·        proven experience in managing client needs and expectations.

·        strong communication skills (both written and verbal)

·        hold a valid NSW Driver’s Licence and a willingness to drive to remote locations, which may include occasional overnight stays.

Salary: Grade 7/8. Salary package up to $113,465. Package includes a base salary ($92,470 - $102,359) and employer’s contribution to superannuation.

Question 2: Outline your experience in managing project delivery risks, with regard to time and cost implications as well as safety and environmental risks.

 

 

Talent Pool: If the selection panel identifies more than one suitable candidate for the role, a talent pool may be created from which these suitable candidates may be chosen and directly offered employment in other similar roles (ongoing or temporary) in the near future.

 

 

Job Status: Full-time ongoing appointment under the Government Sector Employment Act 2013.
