Due to the success and growth of our Programme Delivery Team within our Property and Building Division, we are currently looking to secure a National Team Lead for our Asset Management Team. As a result of our many WSP perks, we offer and promote agile working and the successful candidate will have the opportunity to be based in our Sydney, Melbourne or Brisbane office.
  
Strategy

• Assist the Director of Programme Delivery in business planning and strategic planning.
• Develop and implement technical stream strategies and actions for growing the business.

People and Competency

• Manage the national team of building asset management practitioners.
• Foster the desired company culture through role modelling and effective and inclusive management practices.
• Ensure project resource needs are identified and ensure development and/or recruitment of high calibre people.
• Ensure our people are abreast of the latest industry and market developments and the technical stream is leading the people development for emerging technologies and capabilities.
• Define and solve our client’s problems through innovative thinking and team work.
• Challenge every process to drive innovation in everything we do.
• Develop our staff through projects and actively promote and create future technical and business development leaders within the organisation.
• Lead the learning culture through actively engaging in the development of team members.

Business Development

• Develop a market leading profile through leading strategically important projects.
• Build effective regional networks and working relationships with key stakeholders and especially key clients, current and future.
• Lead the technical stream strategy for pursuing strategic bids, ensuring that all significant opportunities are maximised for success.
• Deliver at least one presentation to an appropriate conference per annum.
• Encourage staff to raise external branding by presentations and other activity.

Criteria:

• Strong Leadership qualities including management, communication, technical capabilities and Stakeholder engagement.
• Experience with managing people
• Ability to influence others with the consideration of others views.
• Demonstrated high level technical knowledge. 
• Ability to effectively problem solve in an ever changing environment. 
• Experienced in business development and relationship management.
• 15 years minimum in a similar role and industry
• Professional registration
• Excellent self-management skills
