About the Role

We are currently seeking a Mid-Level Structural Engineer to join our Brisbane office!

This role will deliver strong technical expertise and be actively involved in engaging with clients to further strengthen our relationships. This is a great opportunity to join a passionate and collaborative team with the chance to contribute to a growing core of new business.

Key Responsibilities Include

• Carrying out site investigations at a variety of building and infrastructure projects throughout Queensland.
• Provide detailed design solutions and documentation.
• Project management of multiple work packages
• Work closely with our clients to ensure timely delivery.
• Assist with the preparation of fee proposals and other work winning activities.
• Delivers effective and technically sound engineering solutions within set time frames.
• Currently hold or be working towards Registered Professional Engineer of Queensland Registration within the next 2 years.

Your Skills and Experience

• 5+ years post graduate experience in structural design and documentation.
• Demonstrated understanding and application of relevant Australian Standards and the design principals of multi-level buildings, reinforced concrete, steel, retaining structures and water retaining structures.
• Proficient in the use of structural software packages, such as Microstran, Limcon, Spacegass, Inducta SLB, inducta RCB, Strand7, Rapt etc, in addition to spreadsheets/Mathcad to track and coordinate large numbers of deliverables.
• Excellent verbal and written communication, including the preparation of engineering designs, specifications and technical report writing.
• Proven ability to confidently liaise with Clients and build strong working relationships.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a multi-disciplinary team.
• Takes ownership and accountability for the successful completion of personal works
• Effectively communicates ideas and collaborates with clients and colleagues to achieve goals.

Education and Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Structural/Civil Engineering
• RPEQ or working to obtain
