This significant and challenging role will suit a person of vision and purpose. You will bring a fresh and energetic leadership in a formidable partnership with the General Manager and Executive Team to deliver service excellence to the regional community. You will have many qualities — key being a strategic corporate and community outlook, inspirational people leadership and relationship skills to build the culture needed to deliver high organisation performance, a strong commercial focus, advanced analytical skills, effective communication skills, a collaborative and flexible style, along with a strong focus on staff development.
You will give a strategic direction to and leadership of the services within your portfolio — Infrastructure, Water and Waste, Planning and Building Inspection, Open Space and Recreation, Regulatory Services and Asset Management.
A tertiary qualification in Business, Land Use Planning, Civil Engineering or other relevant discipline is essential for this role. A total remuneration package of approx. $190,000 will be negotiated comprising salary, Council superannuation contribution and private use contribution to a motor vehicle.
