Are you a Cert III qualified electrical maintenance engineer/ supervisor?
Do you have experience with reactive breakdown and PPM of LV/ MV electrical equipment in a commercial/ Industrial setting?
This is an awesome opportunity for a qualified electrician/ electrical engineer to join a large corporate business that own and operate their own electrical infrastructure, including uninterruptable power generation, gas turbines, 3-phase motors, solar power generation, and huge data centres.
Why this role?
Based out of Melbourne’s CBD you will play an integral part in the maintaining this company’s electrical infrastructure, helping to ensure a seamless service for their millions of customers throughout Australia. You will get involved with both OPEX and CAPEX projects, interface with numerous subcontractors, review designs and project plans, procure materials, conduct feasibility studies and compiles work packs, etc.
Duties:
- Interface with Head of Asset Management.
- Liaising with external suppliers.
- Updating CMMS systems.
- Fault identification and rectification.
- Managing safety and electrical system upgrades.
- Project management of small CAPEX projects.
- Some commissioning activities.
- Review asset performance data.
Requirements:
- A Grade electrician, Cert III in Electrotechnology (or equivalent).
- Previous experience in a service technician/ supervisor role in a large commercial (shopping centre, airport, sports stadium, etc.) or industrial (manufacturing plant, power station, mining, warehousing, etc.)
