Job Description
The Maintenance Supervisor is required to undertake planning, coordinating, supervising and leading of assigned work teams in the maintenance and operation of equipment at the customer site to a high professional level for a 24 hour x 7 day operation. The position works closely with other Maintenance Supervisors in the Operations and Maintenance team and supports the Deputy Manager Operations and Maintenance to supply site utilities.
- Provide supervision and leadership to the team to achieve Statement of Work (SOW) requirements.
- Determine service quality and performance standards to meet maintenance requirements.
- Develop and implement systems, that contribute maintenance information to strategic and forward looking plans and reviews;
- Evaluate and document the functionality and reliability of assigned systems and associated equipment.
- Lead and execute the site preventive maintenance program on assigned facility systems and associated equipment.
- Improve function and reliability of assigned systems and associated equipment by studying performance results; identifying, recommending, and implementing changes, expansions and additions.
- As a specialist in a sub-discipline, be responsible for compliance issues and adherence to relevant regulations
- Maintain safe and healthy work environment by following and enforcing site environmental health and safety (EHS) policies and procedures; complying with applicable Work Health Safety (WHS) Act standards.
- Manage personnel issues and leave requests; ensure there is always proper coverage to meet site maintenance requirements and ensure compliance with OASIS processes and procedures
- Any other reasonable duties as required by the direct line manager or delegate
Qualifications
Electrical
- Certificate III in Electrical Trade
Mechanical
- Certificate III in Mechanical Trade
Services
- Certificate III in a Facilities Trade
All
- Certificate IV in Frontline Management
- Certificate IV in Training and Assessment
- 3 to 5 years minimum experience in supervision and leadership
- 5 to 7 years post apprenticeship experience in a facilities environment
- Current Department of Defense Security Clearance (TSPV)
Additional Information
This role does require the successful applicant to be an Australian Citizen and have the ability to hold and maintain a current TSPV security clearance.
