Our client, a leading worldwide food processing and packaging organization, is seeking an experienced Plant Manager to join their team in Scone NSW, a lovely rural town, known as the horse capital of Australia. Home to dozens of studs and world-class thoroughbred breeders, close to the vineyards of the Hunter Valley and only two hours from Newcastle Airport, Scone makes the ideal location for a “Tree Change”.
Reporting to the Plant Manager, you will lead and motivate a skilled maintenance team, provide engineering solutions and strategies to ensure the reliability of the plant and drive continuous improvement.
You will be a degree qualified Mechanical or Electrical Engineer with previous maintenance management experience in a heavy manufacturing environment, preferably within food or other fast-moving products. It is essential that you have experience managing projects and budgets. You will be a collaborative manager with experience mentoring and leading well established teams.
Postgrad qualifications in Maintenance Management and experience working with refrigeration and boilers will be an advantage.
