With a focus on software, we're seeking motivated individuals to join us as Systems Engineers.
Our Systems Engineers enjoy a level of flexibility to get involved in various stages of the Systems Engineering lifecycle, depending on the Projects at the time, their interests and skill sets.
You will provide systems engineering services to Bids and Projects across the entire system engineering life cycle. The scope of activities includes systems engineering, design, verification and specialty engineering. You will also assist to shape the development of systems within a dynamic, multinational company providing cutting edge technology to the Australian Defence Forces.
Reporting to the Systems Engineering Functional Manager, and working under the guidance of the Project Engineering Manager, you'll work with the team to deliver systems engineering services on time, within budget and with a quality acceptable to both ELSA and the customer.
To be successful in this role you must have the following skills, knowledge and experience:
- Tertiary qualification(s) in Engineering or Science degree
- Systems Engineering lifecycle experience
- Working with software, communications and system integration projects
- Broad understanding of systems safety across hardware, software and system integration development
Previous experience working on Defence projects and knowledge of ILS and production is highly desirable.
Please note: Due to the security requirements of the role, candidates are ideally Australian Citizens with the ability to obtain and maintain at least NV1 clearance.
