Labourpower currently have an exciting opportunity for a Maintenance Fitter for a company based in South/East Side of Brisbane. The role will include maintaining, servicing and modifying plant, troubleshooting and mechanical welding.
This position is for an immediate start for the right candidate.
Your duties will include but are not limited to:
- Maintain and repair mechanical plant machinery and equipment to operational standards.
- Maintain the highest level of quality.
- Ability to weld stainless steel, using MIG.
- Identify defective or worn components or equipment
- Repair/Replace worn or faulty components and equipment
To be successful for this position you must possess the following:
- Trade Qualifications
- Previous experience in production environment an advantage, but not necessary
- Good written and verbal communication
- Ability to adhere to SOP’s and OH&S policies and procedures.
- Mechanically Minded and ability to troubleshoot
- Keen eye for detail
- Own car and Licence
- Flexible to work on call and live within 30 minutes of site.
