Boeing Defence Australia's Intelligence, Surveillance and Reconnaissance (ISR) Division is looking for experienced Project Engineers to lead teams within the Boeing Airborne Early Warning and Control (AEW&C) programs. Additional responsibilities will include supporting survey and quote development and estimation, capability development and other growth opportunities to support BDA and the ISR Division.
Roles are project execution leadership positions within the ISR Ground Support Segment Capability. These roles will lead the execution of AEW&C Ground Support Segments (which includes Development Laboratories/Systems, Operational Mission Simulator, AEW&C Support Facility, Mission Support Segment and Virtual Wedgetail).
Responsibilities include:
- Cost Account Management
- Translating contract requirements into work requirements, processes and tasks
- Monitoring and performance management of team work scope including:
- planning, direction and accomplishment of team activities and deliverables
- meeting cost, schedule and technical performance objectives
- reporting progress against plan
- Management of applicable suppliers and subcontractors through supplier management
- Participation in technical and programmatic reviews with internal and external stakeholders
- Effective engagement with stakeholders, supplier management, contracts, business support program management, and other IPTs to achieve program objectives
To be successful you will be able to demonstrate:
- Experience with management of the development, integration and installation of complex systems covering simulation, mission planning, data analysis military communications & control equipment, sensors and software.
- Cost and schedule management experience
- Ability to resolve complex problems that require a high level of ingenuity and innovation
- Excellent leadership skills and ability to work effectively within a group environment and with people across all organizational levels.
