Anergy develops world-leading waste-to-energy and thermal processing plants based on its unique high temperature pyrolysis technology. Our core team comprises a small group of highly motivated individuals, using engineering, technical and commercial skills to design, manufacture, construct and commission innovative industrial solutions to the world. As the company continues to grow and prosper, Anergy is seeking a Mechanical Support Engineer to join the team.

The Position

As a Mechanical Support Engineer, you will form an important part of the Anergy support team. Reporting to the Support Manager, you will be based in Perth and be travelling about 25%-50% of your time to sites worldwide. Your duties will involve:

 

  • Representing the Anergy brand, providing technical support and expertise to Anergy clients across the globe

  • On site supervision of commissioning, service and repair of Anergy equipment on site.

  • Assisting the Anergy engineering team across a range of engineering tasks in a diverse set of Anergy projects.

  • Preparing training to clients and providing training to clients in using Anergy equipment

  • Preparing technical and commercial l documentation such as final service reports, spare part quotes and operation manuals

  • Working across multiple technical and non-technical disciplines to meet and exceed expectations.

About You

The position would suit a well motivated hands-on mechanical engineer with interest in process and electrical engineering. The role will require a lateral thinker who enjoys the technical challenge and innovative agenda the business pursues.

 

At a minimum, you will possess:

  • Bachelor degree in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent

  • 1-5 years professional experience, preferably with field experience.

  • Ability to read and interpret GA drawings and PIDs for engineering equipment.

  • Proficient communication skills in English, both in speaking and writing;

  • A high level of enthusiasm and motivation to tackle technical challenges;

  • The ability to communicate effectively within a team of both local and international team members.

  • Preferably: Exposure to thermal and materials handling equipment such as kilns, heaters and screw conveyors;
