An outstanding opportunity has presented itself for an Electrical or Electronic Engineer within our clients network planning department. The professional engineer will assist with the analysis of customer power system quality of supply enquires, customer generator connection applications below 200kw to the Distribution network in SA (power system modelling), communicate with customer on their proposals and our requirements, write engineering reports, and witness customer compliance commissioning.
We are looking for an electrical or electronic professional engineer with 0 to 3 years experience. The successful candidate will have an engineering degree, good command of written and verbal English, confident using MS Word and MS Excel, able to work in a team environment and occasionally at customer’s sites (witness commission tests). Relevant experience in the power system modelling, power system quality of supply investigations & analysis, small generation connection commissioning will be highly regarded.
The position is a 12 month supplementary labour assignment through Chandler Macleod, there is a great hourly rate on offer and you will gain experience with an industry leader.
