Babcock Mission Critical Services Australasia Pty Ltd are currently seeking an experienced Heavy Maintenance Co-ordinator to lead the heavy maintenance of our AW139 fleet in Essendon, Victoria to support our services to Ambulance Victoria operations.

 

Reporting to Ambulance Victoria’s Senior Engineer, this role is classified as a fixed base position at our Essendon base and your primary accountabilities will include:

  • Managing and co-ordinating AW139 heavy maintenance
  • Ensuring all heavy maintenance is performed safely and efficiently within acceptable time frames
  • Being proactive with AW139 fleet preventative maintenance, modifications, efficiency and preservation
  • Providing engineering support as required in between events
     

The successful candidate must have:

  • B1.3 or B2 License with AW139 rating
  • Heavy and Line maintenance experience with AW139
  • Demonstrated ability to forecast, plan and execute maintenance activities
  • The ability to prepare GSE and spare parts efficiently for each event
  • Demonstrated ability to effectively communicate to internal and external stakeholders
  • Ability to lead, teach and manage a technical team
  • Proficient in the use of Microsoft Office suite of packages
  • The ability to work as part of a team with flexibility and a positive attitude
