We currently have a entry level opportunity for a Junior Project Engineer to join our Mobility team based in Melbourne, Victoria.
The successful candidate will be responsible to work across the engineering teams in Australia to coordinate the successful execution of delivery on Railway Signalling Projects across the country. This role will report directly the Product Line Manager, and will be a core member of the project management team working in partnership with the Project Manager and Commercial Manager in order to ensure project deliverables.
To be considered for this role it is likely that you will have:
- Bachelor Degree in Mechanical/Electrical or Mechatronics
- Experience in coordinating projects from start to the end
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to influence internal and external stakeholders
- A problem solving mentality with the ability to ?think outside of the box?
- Experience in managing technical projects
- Experience in the technical management of subcontractors and vendors
- Project planning experience
- Able to travel interstate by time to time
- Great attitude to learn and ability to take ownership on projects
