Mechanical Design Engineer / Draftsperson
Indrotech Pty Ltd specialise in the design, manufacture and service of industrial fans, commercial and automotive driveshafts and offers industrial balancing services.
We are seeking a mature Mechanical Design Engineer who is presentable, energetic, passionate and a team player. We are offering a busy but rewarding role with a friendly work environment, fabulous team culture and future career development opportunities.
Reporting to the Managing Director, your primary tasks will involve: drafting duties, Project and Staff management, occasional site inspections/ assessments and basic customer service.
The successful candidate will possess tertiary qualifications in Mechanical Design / Engineering or equivalent. It is expected that the applicant will also be a “people person” who is able to communicate clearly and concisely to all levels of clientele, Indrotech management / employees / sub-contractors and suppliers.
The applicant must also have:
• Experience in AutoCad Drafting techniques.
• A proven ability to work within a close-knit team environment, but also independently.
• A pleasant phone manner.
• Engineering nous.
• An appreciation in a specialised engineering manufacturing sector.
• Be prepared to get their hands dirty at times
• High computer literacy- Microsoft suite and AutoCAD.
• A high level of self-confidence, motivation and determination to succeed.
• An ability to manage multiple tasks.
• Meet deadlines.
• Highly developed numerical skills with a high level of attention to detail.
• A professional and positive attitude.
