ABOUT THE COMPANY.
Based in Sydney's CBD, this design & construction engineering consultancy are best known for their involvement on some of the most iconic buildings and infrastructure developments throughout Australia. With a team that is 12-strong within their temporary works division, they are consistently growing and looking for a Structural Engineer to join their team and manage projects from inception through to construction inspections.
ABOUT THE POSITION.
This position will see you as a Structural Engineer based in the Temporary Works team in their CBD office. You will be involved in the design of concrete, steel, timber and temporary works for various buildings and infrastructure projects across NSW. This position will see you very hands on with design, client liaising, inspections and other particulars to deliver your projects.
DUTIES.
- Manage structural design using Microstran, Strand7 & RAPT software
- Delivery of fee proposals
- Concept & detail design
- Daily liaising with clients, contractors & team members
- Attend & conduct site inspections
- Engineering degree qualifications are essential
- Strong design experience with buildings & temporary works
- Ability to manage structural projects from design through to construction phase
- Strong written & verbal communication skills for client liaising
