We are currently seeking to recruit a Senior Renewable Energy Engineer to join our Melbourne Power team to support our wind power Owners/Independent Engineering (OE/IE) capability. The successful candidate will be a self-starter, seeking a challenge to continue to drive and expand our engineering services offering for wind farm development across Australia. The role will be responsible for the provision of technical advisory, due diligence and OE/IE services for multiple clients and exciting projects including but not limited to:
 
Responsibilities:

• Leading and conducting technical due diligence of proposed and existing wind farm assets on behalf of lenders, purchasers or developers/owners.
• Project management activities, reviewing elements of tech DD, including contracts, financial model, civil, environment and planning, etc.
• Establishing/consolidating a strong internal network of supporting resources in each discipline and state to support tech DD work.
• Developing internal processes and procedures around this work.
• QA and issue of DD reports.
• Client interface, Q&A with Lenders.
• Leading and conducting Independent/Lenders Engineer/Certifier roles, such as succinct reporting of progress and issues to project investors and contractor payment claim review and certification and Site inspections.
• Developing internal processes and procedures around this work.
• Guiding of junior engineers to support this role. 
• Leading and preparing successful multidisciplinary bids and proposal.
• Proactively meet with key clients to build trusted adviser relationships.
• Involved in internal and external Business development activity within the local market and Presenting at conferences (if desired).
• Growing and maintaining industry contacts amongst developers, suppliers, and investors.
