Working for one of Sydney’s leading names in Rail infrastructure we have an opportunity for a Maintenance Manager for the Fleet division based in Auburn. In this position you will hold an overarching position and lead the facilities and routine maintenance projects to deliver specified outcomes for stakeholders. You will be responsible for a variety of aspects including safety, scope, quality, standards, and budget, timeframes and customer expectations while ensuring that projects do not compromise fleet system safety or reliability. A challenging position, this role will provide the right person with the benefit of working on the frontline of innovative change in terms of our rail network. Working across multiple stakeholders, skills in negotiation and influence are highly value as you will need to ensure the relationships are properly managed. his position is offering a strong daily rate for the right experience with a quick start available.
In return we are looking for the below skills and experience;
You will have prior exeprience in a similar role with knowledge of maintenance on fleet and facilities, with a background in Rail being preferred. Project management experience is required with minimum a Cert IV and due to the nature of the site, you will need to have or be able to complete a national Police Check.
- Engaging and negotiating with various stakeholders
- Ensuring projects meet maintenance budgets, performance targets and stakeholder requirements
- Work with strategic procurement for formalized contracts and contribute to the creation of future contracts
- Implement KPIs and the proven delivery of asset to specific guidelines
- Review project delivery processes as part of continuous improvement
- A background in Rail would be highly beneficial for this role.
