Burra Foods is an Australian dairy processor that for over two decades has been producing and marketing value added dairy products to the global food manufacturing market.

Our manufacturing plant is located in the heart of South Gippsland only 40 minutes from Pakenham and Warragul, an hour from Frankston and just over an hour from the CBD. 

We have a genuinely exciting opportunity for a graduate engineer for a 12 month term to join our transformation team reporting to the Project Lead.  You will perform a range of tasks associated with the execution of a reliability road map and asset management strategy. 

You will be responsible for;

• Assisting in the development of asset care plans and the maintenance strategy
• Reviewing and cleansing the asset register
• Developing the nomenclature templates required for asset cleanse
• Designing  the asset hierarchy
• Assisting in the execution of the maintenance strategy
• Participating in preventative maintenance optimisation workshops
• Creating the bill of materials required for any assets

Skills and experience

• A proven high level of computer literacy and the ability to quickly learn how to operate and apply computer applications
• Electrical engineering  (maintenance experience or post graduate studies in maintenance management will also be considered)
• Demonstrated accuracy and attention to detail
• The ability to work with limited supervision and meet deadlines
• Sound experience to work in a team environment
• Proven experience to employ sound judgment and decision making amongst competing demands
• Excellent written communication skills including report writing skills
