Lead a team of designers and engineers to provide specialised transport equipment to clients both new and existing. My client is seeking an innovative and creative individual who is able to provide expert advice and knowledge of the organisations bespoke products to clients.

My client is a market leader in transport equipment and is constantly evolving their existing product line to suit the markets needs, and to attract new business.
Description
The key responsibilities include (but not limited to):
- Lead and supervise Engineering/Drafting staff and subcontractors
- Provide expert calculations and drawings
- Liaise with clients through sales team
- Build and maintain relationships with external suppliers
- Engineering project/information administration
Profile
The successful candidate should possess the following:
- Proven experience in innovative design and existing product development
- Design drafting/CAD modelling and relevant software skills
- Strong understanding of the manufacturing process
- An influential leader for both internal and external clients
- Project management experience including costing skills
- Road transport engineering structural design (desirable)
