In response to growth in our business, we are currently seeking a Geotechnical Engineer to join our regional Albury-Wodonga office.
Primary functions of the role
- Planning and undertaking geotechnical field investigations
- Geotechnical analysis and design
- Preparing proposals and technical reports Manage projects and subcontractors
- Maintaining client contact and identifying project opportunities.
- Degree qualified Civil Engineer together with 5+ years’ relevant experience (senior engineer). Candidates with less than 5 years’ experience are also encouraged to apply
- Exposure to working in a consultancy environment, with good relationship and networking skills
- Demonstrated solid geotechnical investigation design and delivery experience on a variety of infrastructure projects, including strong judgement and decision making ability
- Experience with geotechnical software and design/drafting packages
- Experience in slope stability analysis and undertaking geotechnical risk assessments
- Demonstrated ability to collaborate with clients and stakeholders
- Well-developed project and time management experience, including established project management responsibilities with the ability to work independently
- Accomplished written and verbal communication skills.
- Exposure to a diverse range of projects in a variety of locations based from a regional office
