We have an exciting opportunity for a newly created role of Operations and Performance Improvement Manager to join our team in Sydney. We are finishing the construction of the largest solar plant in Australia and your role will be to become the key member of the Operations and Maintenance team responsible for process management and data accountancy.
Key duties:
- Liaise with overseas counterparts for O&M documental systems (Knowledge Management, Asset Master Data Management, Company Knowledge System), communication initiatives and O&M Creating Shared Value projects;
- Supervise the implementation and monitoring of the Operational Efficiency process;
- Supervise the implementation/sharing of improvement initiatives and best practices;
- Manage O&M Contracts and logistic processes in collaboration with Operational Performance Improvement unit and Procurement function;
- Manage/supervise BSO contracts
- Manage industrial Facilities and Asset Management services at Country level;
- Cost Control: define, monitor, analyze and report O&M cost and operational KPIs trends concerning OpEx, CapEx, Cash Cost, production budget in collaboration with the Finance department
- Reporting: production, energy availability/reliability, efficiency (at plant, technology and Country level);
- Ensure and monitor the right use of SAP PM and SAP MM systems;
About you:
- Bachelor’s degree qualification preferably in Engineering or Economic disciplines, Masters a plus.
- At least 5 years’ experience in renewable power plant operation and maintenance sector (preferably wind and solar technologies)
- Proven success as a leader in an autonomous role
- Excellent understanding and ability to deeply analyse large amounts of data
- Very good knowledge of renewable energy systems, O&M processes, contract management and economic principles
- Excellent communication, negotiation, strategy and team worker
- Ability to travel locally and internationally where required
