Australian Rail Track Corporation (ARTC) plays a critical role in the transport supply chain and in the overall economic development of Australia. We manage and operate over 8500 kms of track in New South Wales, Victoria, South Australia, Western Australia and Queensland, making us one of Australia's largest rail network owners.
The Inland Rail Programme is a 1710km rail infrastructure project stretching from Brisbane to Melbourne incorporating new and existing rail track. The programme includes the upgrading of existing standard gauge track, the enhancement of existing standard gauge track to cater for double stacking and the construction of new standard gauge links comprising of: viaducts, tunnels, rail track, crossings and bridges. The ARTC Inland Rail Project is currently seeking Expressions of Interest from suitably experienced Contracts Administrators for upcoming project work in the Parkes region.
About the Position
Contracts Administrators support the day-to-day management of contracts across a designated project of Inland Rail. The position undertakes a variety of administration duties related to the preparation of contract documents, progress claim verification, payment certificates and contract variations.
About You
Candidates with proven contracts administration experience along with exposure to design and construction and/or construct only contracts, preferably within a major project environment will be favourably considered for up and coming project work. An understanding of construction contracts and contract law coupled with a clear understanding of ethical practices and probity within a large organisation is considered essential within this position. Ideal candidates will have clear and concise oral and written communications skills along with the ability to communicate with a variety of internal and external stakeholders. Relevant tertiary qualifications in commercial, engineering or a relevant discipline will be considered highly advantageous.
