A 50 year old growing family run luxury residential builder with exciting projects throughout the Eastern Suburbs and North Shore. They specialise in architecturally designed one of builds as well as luxury renovations extensions and additions. They have a very friendly and team atmosphere and are looking for like-minded staff to join them due to a massive increase in work load.
The role & who they are looking for?
They a now looking for an experienced Site Foreman that has an extensive and proven track record in Australia of successfully delivering luxury residential projects varying from architecturally designed one-off homes to luxury residential renovations, extensions and additions from start to finish. We are looking for a natural leader that has exceptional presentation and liaison skills as you will often be representing the company to clients. This role will be predominantly a Mon-Fri role with Saturdays as and when required.
Your day to day duties will include:
- Managing immediate staff and sub-contractors on site.
- Liaising with clients, suppliers and sub-contractors.
- Quality Assurance on site.
- Ensuring that projects are running to timeframe and to budget.
- Assist with works as required.
- Report in to Construction Manager.
This is going to be an autonomous role but you will also be offered training and guidance as to the company procedures and processes. You need to have had at least 3 years in a Site Foreman role for a luxury residential builder in Australia to be considered for this role.
You will also require the following:
- Qualified in Carpentry or come from a Carpentry background.
- Excellent time management and organisational skills.
- Exceptional man management skills.
- Liaise with Clients in a respectable and confident manner.
- Strong attention to detail.
- Problem solving will be a key strength.
