I’m currently working with fit-out and refurbishment contractor, looking to welcome a Junior Project Manager to their established team. With a history of successfully developing Junior staff into self-standing Project Managers, this is an excellent opportunity to be mentored by industry professionals. 

Role

As part of a dynamic and young team, you will be exposed to a diverse range of projects varying between commercial and retail works to values up to $3m.

You will be required to:

• Review and develop the scope of work packages
• Obtaining quotations from various sub-contract trades, comparing and contrasting each in order to maximise project cost efficiency.
• Aiding in negotiation and contractual claims
• Assist in cash flow reporting and management

Suitable candidates:

• Possess a minimum of 1-2 years experience in the construction industry
• Have an excellent work ethic and desire to continually develop
• You must be able to work to tight time constraints with the ability to prioritise tasks successfully.
• Trade background
