A renowned Tier 1 civil contractor is looking for an ambitious Project Engineer with experience in civil infrastructure and rail. Employing some of the best Engineers in the civil construction industry, this company prides itself on the quality of its' projects and client satisfaction. They have built a reputation as one of the major players in complex civil works with a specialisation in rail, roads and bridges. With the best systems and processes in the industry, they can offer their Project Engineers the best support and mentoring to take the next step towards Senior Project Engineer level within the company.

The Role 
With an increase in workload in Brisbane, they have identified the need for an experienced Project Engineer to supplement and enhance their engineering team. You will work closely with the Project Managers and Senior Engineers as you grow in the role with the company and you will be mentored accordingly. Ideal candidates should have worked on rail construction, road construction, bridge construction or general infrastructure works and want to work in the Brisbane area. The company offers long term works and not just project opportunities and they have a strong work culture which makes you feel valued in your position.

To be successful in this role you should have; 

• experience in civil construction
• a Bachelor of Civil Engineering
• worked on rail or civil infrastructure projects
• focus on safety
• solid technical skills
• have previously worked with at least a Tier 2 contractor
• ideally have worked in Queensland on rail projects
• enjoy complex civil projects
• understanding of quality
• exposure to quality and programming
• ability to work as part of high performing project teams

Remuneration
This role is paying a market high base salary with a top of the range company car coupled with an excellent bonus scheme. You will be supported by some of the best engineers in the market as well as working with seasoned Supervisors. The company prides itself on competitive bidding and all their jobs make a profit.
