A Senior Capital Works Project Manager job to deliver end to end building and civil projects
Your new company
A Local Government Municipality in Melbourne's North, focused on improving the community, is seeking a Senior Capital Works Project Manager to oversee multiple building projects and some minor civil works, for an initial 6 month period. This role will highly likely extend and be ongoing.
Your new role
In this role you will be required to oversee multiple Capital Works projects from end to end, including:
- New build, refurbishment and redevelopment projects
- Interpreting architectural plans/steering design
- Liaising with clients and stakeholders
- Evaluating tenders
- Engaging with consultants
- Overseeing construction
- Completing and preparing reports
What you'll need to succeed
To experience success in this role, you will ideally have previous Government experience in delivering capital works projects. However, you must:
- Possess excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills
- Have a customer-driven mindset
- Have a technical qualification in Engineering or related field
- Have demonstrated experience in managing multiple capital works building projects
