An independent Cost and Project management consultancy based in Central Sydney are looking to develop their infrastructure team, with a number of highly astute Quantity surveyors. With a large number of new projects starting within the Rail division, the Consultancy require experienced Quantity surveyors to adequately complete the work load, which are set to last for at least the next 10 years.
The consultancy who have been in business for over 50 years are one of Australia’s largest independently owned Cost and Project management consultancies. Their infrastructure division has seen strong growth in the past few years, with the rail division leading the way. With a wealth of new orders coming in from leading client-side rail organisations, the consultancy look set to enjoy continued growth and prosperity.
For this role, the consultancy will require:
- Between 4 to 6 years relevant experience with a PQS / Client-side org, or Main Contractor
- A degree in Project, Cost or construction management.
- MRICS advantageous.
- AIQS, COIB, AIPM of MAPM
- Rail or Infrastructure sector experience
- A strong network within the Sydney market
- Strong Post contract experience
The key responsibilities for this role will include:
- Providing clear and concise contract management on a variety of projects
- Working directly with the client to provide professional and clear advice
- working on full life cycle costing
- stakeholder engagement
